NZSO-SOUNZ Readings
The NZSO-SOUNZ Readings was a collaborative project which aimed to increase the performance of orchestral music by New Zealand composers. SOUNZ and the NZSO generally held the Readings twice a year in Wellington. Between 1998 and 2011, 100 works by 52 New Zealand composers were included in the NZSO-SOUNZ Readings project, about a third of which have now received further performance or been released on CD.
This form of the NZSO-SOUNZ Readings was changed during 2010 and 2011, becoming the NZSO-SOUNZ-RNZC Recordings. You can read more about the Recordings here.
